Construction Manager - Offshore Wind Installation Contracting

Based in Denmark – Overseas opportunity for South African Construction Managers

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Manager to lead and oversee the construction phase of offshore wind installation projects. The Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and project requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver successful offshore wind installations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience (6 – 8 years+) in construction management within the land or offshore wind or related industry.
  • In-depth understanding of land or offshore wind construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
  • Relevant certifications (CMAA, PMP, etc.) are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
